The term influenza is associated with illness caused by influenza virus. This is commonly called the flu, but many different illnesses or diseases cause flu-like symptoms such as fever, abdominal pain, chills, aches and pains, cough, and sore throat. Influenza virus infection can cause different diseases patterns, ranging from mild to moderate common cold symptoms to typical flu. Annually vaccination is the primary means of eradicating and controlling influenza. For instance: Relenza (zanamivier), tamiflu (oseltamivir phosphate), rapivab (peramivir), dilfuza (baloxavirmarboxil) etc.
